This year we visited three east Berkshire churches and Reading Abbey, and had a splendid lunch in a nearby gastro pub.
Our thanks as always to Dr Geoffrey Tyack and Tim Tatton-Brown for their excellent tour guiding.

The church hall was packed to capacity, with the donation of £1,044 going to Donnington Doorstep Family Centre

Fran Deacon's quiz yet again pushed the brain cells to the limit, whilst our quiz masters, Susan Walker and David Wiles skillfully danced on the tightrope of trivia. The wine and nibbles played their part even in the face of answering quantum physics questions with a mouthful of cheese and onion sausage rolls.
